New Double Wire Rope Loop Box Boosts Precast Concrete Connection Efficiency & Safety
Views: 10 Update date: Jun 11,2026
What Is a Double Wire Rope Loop Box?
A Double Wire Rope Loop Box is a galvanized steel casing pre-fitted with two high-strength (1770 MPa) galvanized steel wire rope loops (typically 6 mm diameter), protected by peel-off adhesive tape. It is embedded into precast concrete panels during fabrication; on-site, the tape is removed, and the loops are pulled out to connect adjacent PC elements, transferring shear and tensile loads reliably. The “double loop” design delivers higher load capacity than single-loop alternatives, making it ideal for mid-to-high-rise buildings, double-sided laminated shear walls, solid walls, and sandwich insulation wall panels.
Key Advantages Driving Industry Adoption
1. Superior Structural Performance
The dual 1770 MPa galvanized wire ropes provide a minimum breaking strength of 24.4 kN, ensuring stable load transfer between precast components. The galvanized finish offers excellent corrosion resistance, extending service life in harsh environments.
2. 50% Faster On-Site Installation
No special tools are required: the protective tape peels off by hand, and loops are ready for connection in seconds. Compared to traditional U-bar connections, the system cuts labor time and reduces skilled worker dependency, critical for tight project schedules.
3. Versatile & Cost-Effective
Compatible with all standard precast concrete elements, the loop box eliminates on-site rebar bending and welding, lowering material and labor costs. It is CE and ISO9001 certified, complying with EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and VDI/BV-BS 6205 standards.
How It Works: Simple 6-Step Installation
1. Fix the loop box to the formwork with pre-punched nail holes.
2. Pour concrete to embed the box flush with the panel surface.
3. Remove formwork once concrete cures.
4. Peel off the protective tape to expose wire loops.
5. Thread vertical rebar through the double loops of adjacent panels.
6. Pour grout into the vertical joint to form a monolithic connection.
Market Outlook
The double wire rope ring-shaped connection box, as a key component, will play a significant role in promoting the development of modular construction. Currently, our factory holds a leading position in the production of this product, with a monthly production capacity of up to 150,000 pieces, which is sufficient to meet market demand.
