The Bolt rebar coupler is a mechanical connector for 10 to 40 mm diameter reinforcing-steel B500B. The positive transfer of tension and pressure forces from one rebar to the other is achieved via a self-regulating impacting-lock in the coupler. No preparatory rebar work required: no thread cutting; no ramming; no crimping; no welding.
The standard coupler consists of a seamless tube with integrated serrated runners and a set number of shear-off screws. The number of screws depends on the diameter of the rebar.
